Since it was founded in 1934, Hilden Grange School in Tonbridge, Kent has become a thriving co-educational IAPS Preparatory School catering for children aged between 3 – 13 years. Its ongoing success has resulted in a requirement for more space.
Having undergone various expansion schemes over the years, it now requires an extension to the existing nursery building.
rpa:group has been appointed by Alpha Plus to provide architectural services including drawings for the project, which will utilise prefabricated modular timber buildings.
Using prefabrication of the extension will help to ensure the speed of the build and minimise disruption to the school, with the use of timber materials in the construction also delivering a sustainable solution to the creation of a new learning environment. Work is expected to commence on site in October.
