The new store is a three dimensional fusion of the well known Tommy brand heritage mixed with modern finishes and a bright airy look. The use of large areas of glass in the storefront fill the entire space with natural light that compliments the store’s polished surfaces to give the whole store a contemporary feel.
Chris Swann of rpa:group’s retail architecture team says: “This is traditional Tommy presented in a fresh and modern way that will pleasantly surprise the Hilfiger customer, whilst retaining the essence of the brand’s DNA.” The Tommy design team have given the look of the new store a nautical accent, which underlines Tommy Hilfiger’s personal sources of inspiration.
The nautical look is underpinned throughout the store through the use of walnut, lacquered surfaces and bespoke polished steel detailing, whilst the light oak flooring lends the visual cue of a ship’s deck. The store also features bespoke TH Jacquard and chevron patterned rugs and mid century light fittings that underscore the signature colours of the brand.
