Inspire Education is a world-leading, co-educational, non-denominational group of premium schools, offering academic excellence to over 90,000 students in 119 schools across 27 countries.
Seeking to expand their UK portfolio of schools, Inspire Education has acquired several schools from Alpha plus and some others from private investments, and appointed rpa:group to conduct surveys on their Fulham Road Pre Prep and Greyhound Road Prep Schools. These were undertaken by members of our Interior Architecture team, who utilised Matterport, a digital survey apparatus, to help ensure total accuracy.
We have increasingly been using Matterport to undertake survey work as the benefits are far reaching. One of these is the ability to create accurate and immersive 3D models that can be explored remotely. Furthermore, it allows for the seamless integration into our architecture software such as BIM and CAD for drawings that have total accuracy and efficiency, something which our Polish office was able to produce with the Matterport information.
These record drawings were issued to Inspire Education, who are utilising them to generate a series of briefing documents to issue to a number of contractors, to price their proposed works, in order to save time and to negate risk of error.
