K+K Hotel

Elaborate facade restoration

brief

The K+K Hotel George Kensington offers four star luxury accommodation in the heart of central London. The building dates back to the early 1800’s and required refurbishment to its elaborate façade, in order to upgrade the look and longevity of its exterior.

This includes stripping back the external render to expose the original brickwork as well as repairing and restoring the period detail to the façade.

Full Project Management services are being provided by rpa:group, to ensure the refurbishment programme is carried out on time and within budget.

result

Works commenced in January and are now reaching completion, with the hotel remaining open and entirely operational throughout.
