Continuing our long standing relationship with Arcadia, our architecture team has provided Architectural and Contract Administration services to deliver the new Topshop/Topman European flagship store in Amsterdam, the brand’s first in continental Europe.
The store interior has been designed to offer a variety of spacial and atmospheric environments, depending on gender and product, to clearly identify the different Arcadia fashion destinations within the store. Collection rooms are created within the space by careful use of finishes and lighting. The existing building, previously a book store, offered up a number of challenges for our Interior Architecture team including linking the rear building at ground floor by raising the existing floor levels and rationalisation of the customer circulation stairs.
Located on the busy shopping street of Kalverstraat in the heart of Amsterdam, the debut store spans 1,500 square meters over three floors, and offers the complete ranges for Topshop, including its Unique catwalk collection and Boutique line as well as Topman’s premium LTD collection.
