Our Architecture team worked in partnership with City Axis, on the delivery of Chepstow House School. The school’s new premises are located in what was known as the Isaac Newton Centre in Lancaster Road W10. Chepstow House School now accommodates a 3 form entry school to Year 8. The school also has a co-educational nursery, known as the Little Chepstow Nursery.
The project consisted of converting a mixture of Victorian, 60’s and 80’s buildings to accommodate the new, enhanced Chepstow House School. The challenge was to bring enough of the school on line to meet the needs of the school for the 2014 autumn term. The remaining works were to be completed by Christmas 2014. The project required a complete strip out of all services and the forming of new classrooms to meet current standards.
The project was completed on time to accept the children for the nursery reception and the first 3 year groups to their new environment, with full completion of the whole project for Christmas 2014.
