ALOHAS, the Barcelona-born on-demand fashion brand, is opening its doors in London for the first time which rpa:group is helping to deliver. The new store, located in Soho at 45 Beak Street, marks the brand’s debut in the UK and adds to its growing international retail presence, following openings in Paris, Milan, NYC, Amsterdam, Madrid and Barcelona.
“This is an incredibly exciting milestone for us. London has always been a global reference point for style and creativity, and opening here feels like a natural step in ALOHAS’ journey. We can’t wait to connect with our London community in a more personal way,” says Alejandro Porras, founder and CEO of ALOHAS.
All of Aloha’s store environments are carefully designed with a unifying concept that sees the use of a simplistic and neutral color palette throughout. The texture is provided by diverse material finishes, and striking sculptural-like podiums for displaying products. This allows for the products to provide the color and to be the main focus.
With extensive experience helping to create and to deliver high-end retail environments, rpa:group was chosen to deliver the new store, providing Architecture and Principal Designer services. Works are on site and the store is expected to open its doors to customers in later this year.
The store will offer visitors a curated selection of ALOHAS’ most iconic footwear, alongside pieces from the newest collections. True to the brand’s on-demand model, the space will feature samples of each design for customers to try on. Once purchased, the product is produced and shipped directly to the customer, helping the brand reduce overproduction and champion sustainability. A limited stock of best-selling designs will be available on-site for immediate purchase. With this latest opening, ALOHAS continues to establish itself as one of the most innovative voices in sustainable fashion retail worldwide.
