SEPHORA features nearly 340 brands and has its own private label, SEPHORA Collection, offering beauty products that include cosmetics, skincare, body, fragrance, nail colour, beauty tools, body lotions and haircare. As such, the new store is set to deliver an unrivalled customer experience that is recognisably on brand.
With nearly 40 years of experience in retail design and delivery and a proven track record of delivering unique retail experience in URW centres, both in the UK and abroad, rpa:group was appointed by SEPHORA to provide a range of services including Design, Project Management, Quantity surveying and Interior Architecture.
The initial interior concept was designed by Sephora’s internal Architecture and Design team with rpa:design providing design support, site specific detailing, specification and interior architectural services.
As with all new store openings in Westfield, SEPHORA were encouraged to produce a highly ambitious, unique and creative retail environment that would set itself apart from other SEPHORA stores and meet the expectations of the URW retail design guidelines. There was never any doubt that SEPHORA’s triumphant return aspired to this from the outset.
The new 6,000 sq. ft store concept comprises a new double height glazed shopfront, iconic illuminated SEPHORA stripes and beautiful curved and tiered GRG ceilings with integral Illuminated coffers. The store’s internal area includes a central beauty hub, bespoke concept furniture and self serve kiosks. This is an elegant and unique concept, providing the perfect canvas from which to showcase the SEPHORA brand.
The store successfully opened on the 8th of March 2023, with further UK Sephora stores in the pipeline.
