Lakeside, which is part of SGS Group, welcomes the new Reiss store, which occupies a 2,411 sq. ft space in the Essex-based shopping centre and will offer the full range of contemporary menswear, womenswear, and accessories.
Having recently helped to deliver their new store in London Heathrow’s Terminal Two, and well versed at working with centre management, rpa:group was also chosen to help deliver the elegant concept for the new Lakeside store. Our project management team and design studio worked closely with Reiss’s in-house designer to detail the refreshingly elegant store concept, that reflects the quality and sophistication of the merchandise.
Design features include striking, large-scale graphics to the exterior, showcasing the latest fashion and a floor to ceiling glazed shopfront that allows for an uninterrupted view into and across the store. The use of pale wooden panelling in the exterior façade continues within the interior in the fixtures and fittings and a beautiful, linear slatted ceiling adds visual variety, warmth and sophistication. The warmth of the wood also provides a striking contrast to the use of black in the display frame materials, and the walls are a neutral heritage colour to create a simple and understated yet elegant palette that resounds with the Reiss brand principles.
