Principality is proud to be member owned and still puts its members’ long-term interests at the heart of everything it does. Our brand and digital colleagues, Mr B & Friends, have been busy recently. As Principality’s lead brand agency, they’ve been delivering brand, integrated marketing, digital, events and internal communications for the progressive financial services provider.
So when asked to consider developing the brand interiors for the Cardiff based head office, rpa:group were only to happy to assist the agency, adding their considerable retail banking experience to the project. The agencies collaborated to develop the interior concepts, creating proposals for a remodelled reception, internal coffee shop and meeting spaces.
Heritage played a key part in the design development. The Building Society’s longstanding principles and Welsh cultural heritage are celebrated in a contemporary material selection and palette.
The new graphic identity acknowledges this, with the interiors responding in a contemporary application of traditional patterns and design. The spaces incorporate subtle domestic references, reflecting the Society’s new brand positioning built around helping their customers prosper in their homes, encapsulated in a new strapline ‘Where Home Matters’.
With impressive collaborative creativity and timely turnaround, the team delivered the next generation interiors, giving the staff and visitors their first tangible taste of the future of the Society, commencing delivery in 2016.
