Savers is part of AS Watson Group, the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer, operating over 16,000 stores in 28 markets, with over 130,000 employees worldwide.
The works took eleven weeks to complete and saw the value health and beauty retailer increase its retail footprint by extending into the vacant neighbouring unit.
The shop front was sensitively upgraded, with support and guidance from Historic England, as the store is within one of the key buildings that forms part of the Woolwich Walk heritage trail.
The refurbished store now offers six fragrance cabinets, a thirty-seven-bay queue system and 185 bays of product.
With an established relationship with AS Watson, delivering various stores in the UK across the entire brand portfolio, rpa:group was appointed to provide Interior Architecture and Principal Designer services for the scheme, which successfully opened its doors to customers in October.
