The women’s fashion brand was established in 1981 as a predominantly online retailer, and first ventured into bricks and mortar retail in 2021, with rpa:group helping to deliver Vanilla’s Bluewater flagship, which was its first independent physical store.
Since then, the brand has seen a rapid and successful expansion. With a long-standing relationship with Vanilla, rpa:group has been providing valuable services for numerous new store openings across the UK and with plans for more to come. The two new Irish stores form part of the brand’s expansion strategy and are located in Dublin and Belfast respectively.
The 4,833 Sq. ft Belfast Vanilla store has recently opened in CastleCourt, which is Northern Ireland’s fourth largest shopping centre, and was followed closely by the 4,629 Sq. ft Dublin store, which opened in May in the Jervis Centre, a major shopping destination in the city.
rpa:group were engaged to provide a range of services for the new Irish stores. These include Project Management and Cost consultancy services and a full range of Interior Architecture services that include Principal Designer, conducting initial site surveys and producing feasibility reports and detailed Architectural drawings.
Having a presence in two of Ireland’s premier retail destinations is a true reflection of the success of the fashion retailer in increasing its physical presence.
