The Superdrug store required an extension to its existing footprint to increase the sales area, whilst The Perfume Shop is an entirely new store, having taken over a vacant unit. Both stores incorporate the latest design concepts for the brands.
The Superdrug store has a welcoming double volume glazed storefront, with striking external signage and pink LED’s installed in the windows that make the store truly stand out. These graphic elements extend throughout the store interior, which offers specifically designed zones for Beauty Services, including Makeup, Fragrance and Healthcare, and a nail bar and eyebrow threading services.
The Perfume Shop showcases the latest design elements of the brand vision and features a chandelier with an eye-catching floral design, hologram in the window and a herringbone wooden floor to add warmth. The stylish new store features a brand-new layout and upgraded services including a digital screen, a personalised ribbon machine, as well as offering The Perfume Shop’s signature expert fragrance consultations, complimentary gift wrapping and a recycling service where customers can drop off used perfume bottles to receive 15% off their next purchase – all of these highlighted throughout the store.
rpa:group worked with the AS Watson teams to support the successful delivery of both stores, providing architectural services that included surveys, construction drawings, statutory approvals and PD services.
These from part of a series of ongoing rollouts of new stores and refits for the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer.
