For the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games rpa:group designed two 2,000 sqft Coca-Cola Pin Trading Centers, one at the Olympic Park and one within the Hyde Park pop-up store.

From 1912 souvenir pins have been an integral part of the Olympic and Paralympics games; originally as a way of identifying athletes, Pin Trading has now become known as ‘the number one spectator sport’. The Coca-Cola Official Olympic Games Pin Trading Centers have been present at every Games since the Calgary 1988 Olympic Winter Games.

A striking and impactful store design combining an interior to complement Coca-Cola’s Olympic branding, strong graphic treatments and innovative print techniques meant that visitors were successfully immersed in the full Coca-Cola Olympic experience to ‘Trade a Pin… Make a Memory’.
