Peacocks returns to Watford

rpa:group has helped the much-loved value fashion retailer to make a triumphant return to the area, with an impressive new 10,000 sq ft store.

With a heritage established over the past 140 years of offering quality clothing at exceptional value, Peacocks continues to work hard to provide their customers with affordable and family-friendly fashion that is in keeping with their lifestyle, across 350 UK stores.

After closing their high street store in Watford in 2012,  Peacocks has made a triumphant return to the area, by taking an impressive 10,000 sq ft of space previously occupied by John Lewis in the Atria shopping centre.

The look and feel of the store is reflective of the ethos of the brand, with a stripped back interior in a simple colour palette and the use of selective graphic elements, to allow the main focus to be on the product.

This move Is part of the brand’s expansion plans to open 20 stores over the next year. rpa:group were engaged to provide interior architecture services that included providing detailed drawing sets for construction and managing landlords approvals and statutory approvals. The project was fast tracked and was successfully opened within the set time-frame.
