A collaboration of all the rpa:group’s expertise was utilised to design and deliver the 40,000 sq ft store, which housed over 2,500 different product ranges and had to accommodate in excess of 65,000 customers each day. Our Design Team developed the graphic communications, interior concepts and visual merchandising guidelines and our Architecture department provided the space planning and approvals necessary for compliance.
The elements of the store design and graphics were governed by the 2012 sustainability requirements in that 90% of the store needed to be recyclable. All activities were orchestrated by the Project Management Team, to ensure that timescales and budgets were strictly adhered to.
The customer journey was carefully considered, with the resulting expansive retail space including a well managed visitor flow system and “race track” floor graphics, which was just one of the many features used to create an immersive and experiential store environment. Other features created to enhance the customer journey incorporated an audiovisual immersion zone, Mascot slides, a special edition 2012 Mini Cooper, T-shirt walls and a dedicated Team FB area and concession zone.
The Awards will take place on the 31st of October in central London. There was a huge number of entries this year, so we are delighted to have reached the finals.
