An epic 25km or 50km hike in aid of our chosen charity Shooting Star Chase, a local children’s hospice, which supports children and families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. The Brecon Beacons run through the centre of South Wales and are the training ground of the SAS. As you can imagine, the routes proved to be a tough and challenging extreme physical and psychological workout, crossing some of the highest peaks in South Wales. Everyone did incredibly well, in spite of the immensely gruelling mental and physical challenge this proved to be.
